The current treatment climate is only making things

more challenging

Dr C is currently booking 2-months in advance due to demands on his schedule.

Unable to schedule an In-Office Consultation?

Not everyone can afford an In-Office Consultation or lives close enough to make an office visit feasible. Once more, as Dr. Carpentier’s schedule is already booked 2-3 months in advance, his limited time means he cannot meet personally with everyone who needs help.

So, he is putting out the best information he has in a way that more people can get help, including: exclusive video instruction, regular Q&As, and written content that all can be used to help most people with chronic pain.

He is setting aside time in his schedule each week to help people in this virtual format which can all be accessed in a special area of his website for a very low fee compared to office visit costs.

And the posted information is accessible at any time, as many times as you would like to review it, unlike an in-office consultation.

Take control over your own pain

Learn to control it for yourself and stop spending money and being dependent on a medical system that isn’t working for you in the first place.

Your suffering is not your fault

Dr. Carpentier as spent his career helping people that the system as failed.

The problem

Covid and potential future pandemics make access to healthcare difficult. Even now, many doctors are working online only.

Government war on drugs makes it difficult to get pain medications, and when you can, you are required to pee in a cup and be seen every month. You are treated like a drug addict.

Decreasing insurance coverage for care results in less access. It is difficult to get basic care such as MRI imaging and medications approved through many insurance plans leaving us with a smaller and smaller menu of options every year.

Insurance copays, forcing people to spend additional thousands of dollars a year for basic, often inexpert care.

Rising costs are limiting access to physician experts and forcing people into suboptimal care with people who are not expert in your problem. When experts are available, it takes months to get an appointment.

The care you are receiving doesn't work well. That is why you spend a lot of your own money on beds, pillows, braces, magnets, creams, herbs, and other remedies. It is why you are reading this right now.

The solution

Learn to fix it yourself. Stop relying on drugs, injections, or surgeries.

Most of pain is fear. How do you know what is dangerous and what isn't? If it isn't dangerous(sinister) how do you cope and function? Is it possible to get pain relief without spending your entire life in a doctor’s office?

This treatment has been around for decades. It is very labor intensive and hard to find. When you find it, it can cost 10's of thousands of dollars. It is rarely covered by insurance due to cost.

It is possible to learn these techniques on your own. Once you know them and see how well it works, it is yours forever. No insurance policy change can take them from you. Most doctors are unlikely to know about it, nor are they inclined to spend the time if they do when they are allotted 10 minutes to treat you each visit.

Treatment

important

MAKE SURE THERE ISN’T SOMETHING CRITICAL THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.

THE MOST CRITICAL FIRST STEP IS TO GET THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS.

There are many different issues that can cause back pain and it is impossible to treat without a proper diagnosis. The problem with getting a diagnosis is that even most doctors don’t know how to figure it out. If you receive your care from a primary care physician or just a Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, they may not have the necessary skills or knowledge to determine the cause expeditiously. Every day I see patients with spine pain who have had generic treatment with NSAIDs, self directed exercises and work limitations who fail to recover. This care can go on for months before they are finally referred to a specialist.

If there is an intact neurological system, no chronic fever or weight loss and waxing/waning pain, most likely it isn’t dangerous. If there is a doubt, an MRI will give good information about the state of your spine. Tumor, infection and spinal cord or cauda equina compression are surgical emergencies. Pretty much everything else can be addressed later and doesn’t require urgent care. Even a disc herniation with sciatica is rarely an emergency that needs immediate surgery. Normal neurological function is the key factor.

Even without insurance, a Lumbar spine MRI without contrast is about $350.00 if you pay cash. Many insurance carriers block access to MRI imaging without a period of treatment ranging from 30-90 days or so. This is why it can be beneficial to simply procure MRI imaging on your own. Most physicians will order one if you ask and it can make treatment much easier to plan since it will often help point to a diagnosis, or at least provide peace of mind by demonstrating that there is no problem which requires urgent care.

Once it has been established that no surgery is necessary,
you can take care of things in your own.

Happy customers have a ton to say

He is very knowledgeable and cares about your situation. I felt a comfort level with him, and he identified what others failed to identify over a decade ago. It is a relief to find someone that understands the toll chronic pain takes on your mental state. But to find someone who has the answer is like finding the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. For the first time in my life, I received real answers to my chronic pain.

Christopher Crawley

I was nervous with the treatment procedure Dr. Carpentier had recommended, but he took his time to explain and assure me that it was the best treatment plan for my condition. He walkede me through each step, explaining everything.  I am very pleased with the results! I am pain free now, and I feel like he gave me my life back!
Thank you Dr. Carpentier !

A letter from dr.c

I created this web-based service in order to help people both understand the cause of their pain as well as to learn how to deal with it. This is essentially what I tell my patients every day as I see them in my clinic. I believe that education is the most important element in successful treatment.

In the age of Covid, securing access to high quality care is ever more difficult. At the time I am writing this, there is a new variant reportedly coming out and spreading around the world. New York has already begun to lock down and limit access too many things. Entire countries in Europe are taking very similar actions. For those of you who suffer from chronic pain, this is a huge problem. Your pain is with you every day. It isn’t going to ease as part of this latest lockdown. It is in your own best interest to take control of your situation and learn the things that you can do for yourself rather than having things that are done to you.

The reason for this is simple. We have fewer and fewer options for relief every day. It is very difficult to see a physician directly in many parts of the country and even if there is a physician available, they probably have little to no expertise in treating your particular problem. I am amazed that even in the end of 2021, many of the patients I see for the first time have no idea that the specialty of pain relief exists or what it is I do. They expect that I will recommend high potency, highly addicting medications which almost nobody is interested in anymore. The truth is, my entire goal is make it possible for you to understand your own problem and how to deal with it effectively, so that you have no need to continue seeing doctors and relying on treatments that go on forever. I want you to be able to take care of yourself. It is possible and not as hard as you think.

As I’ve said, seeing a physician expert in this day and age is difficult. In fact, you are likely only able to see a physician face to face for a few minutes at a time and the majority of your time spent is with a midlevel practitioner who has even less understanding of what might be wrong or how to correct it than the physician you are trying to see. The traditional health care model is failing. We are in an era of scarcity and one size fits all treatments for one of the most complex problems that someone can develop-Chronic Pain. My assumption is that most of you have already seen physicians and practitioners and have already tried their treatments and yet, continue to suffer. Here, I will tell you why this is so and what you can do to take back your life.

The treatment of pain remains very much the art of medicine. What you will learn is certainly built on my extensive education, but it comes just as much from my years of experience treating a wide variety of patients and pain conditions. There are really no recipes for how to treat pain. Even determining the diagnosis is difficult for most people with chronic pain and without a good diagnosis, treatment is challenging to impossible. I explain why the diagnosis can be so difficult and what needs to be done to determine what is wrong, or at least to determine what is not wrong and describe treatment options that are effective, even when a clear diagnosis remains elusive.

Your pain is your pain and can’t be compared to anyone else’s pain. There is no worse or better pain. There is only your pain right now. While no two pains develop in exactly the same way, there are many unifying characteristics when it comes to the way our central nervous systems function. The key to relief lies in understanding the physiology of pain. We know that many different and disparate diseases and injuries can lead to similar sets of symptoms, from the debilitating feelings of chronic fatigue syndrome to the similar symptoms of fibromyalgia or even flu. While the inciting events and the patient populations may be very different, the symptoms and the ways to relieve those symptoms are similar.

I am not pitching my own remedies and most of this material is not controversial. The information I provide comes from the available published literature and my decades of experience treating patients very much like you. Some of the concepts I discuss are currently being researched and developed while others are decades old. Unfortunately, many people who treat chronic pain do so without considering this entire body of information in their daily practice and sadly, may not even be aware that some of it exists.

I invite you to join the conversation as I continue to explore and update the information as it becomes available. As a member, you will receive access to my complete knowledge of chronic pain and how to treat it. My book is published on the pages of this website. It is available to read and reread as many times as you like.

I will be doing weekly webinars and answering the questions that most of you have. I will take you through diagnosis and treatment and teach you how to manage your own problem. For most of you, you will be able to bypass medical care entirely and take control of the management of your own pain. You will also have access to an ever-growing video library that takes you step by step from diagnosis to treatment of the most common pain problems that I encounter every day.

There will be opportunity to participate in scheduled Q&A sessions where I will take questions directly from the audience and provide the most current, up to date information. This content will then be available to review at your leisure.

Generally, I don’t make promises to patients I treat. With so many variables that can’t be controlled, specific guarantees are impossible. But I can make one guarantee to you. If you learn what I have to show you, you will be better off than you are now.
