CHRONIC PAIN HAS BECOME AN EPIDEMIC

Stop the suffering. Start with you.

Join us online to learn how to control your chronic pain for yourself and stop spending unnecessary money that makes you dependent on a medical system that isn’t working for you in the first place.

As a member, you will receive access to my complete knowledge of chronic pain and how to treat it. My book is published on the pages of this website. It is available to read and reread as many times as you like.

I will also be doing weekly webinars and answering the questions that most of you have. I will take you through diagnosis and treatment and teach you how to manage your own problem. For most of you, you will be able to bypass medical care entirely and take control of the management of your own pain. You will also have access to an ever-growing video library that takes you step by step from diagnosis to treatment of the most common pain problems that I encounter every day.

There will be opportunity to participate in scheduled Q&A sessions where I will take questions directly from the audience and provide the most current, up to date information. This content will then be available to review at your leisure.

Warmly,
Dr. C

From Dr. Carpentier:

I created this web-based service in order to help people both understand the cause of their pain as well as to learn how to deal with it. This is essentially what I tell my patients every day as I see them in my clinic. I believe that education is the most important element in successful treatment.

In the age of Covid, securing access to high quality care is ever more difficult. At the time I am writing this, there is a new variant reportedly coming out and spreading around the world. New York has already begun to lock down and limit access too many things. Entire countries in Europe are taking very similar actions. For those of you who suffer from chronic pain, this is a huge problem. Your pain is with you every day. It isn’t going to ease as part of this latest lockdown. It is in your own best interest to take control of your situation and learn the things that you can do for yourself rather than having things that are done to you.

The reason for this is simple. We have fewer and fewer options for relief every day. It is very difficult to see a physician directly in many parts of the country and even if there is a physician available, they probably have little to no expertise in treating your particular problem. I am amazed that even in the end of 2021, many of the patients I see for the first time have no idea that the specialty of pain relief exists or what it is I do. They expect that I will recommend high potency, highly addicting medications which almost nobody is interested in anymore. The truth is, my entire goal is make it possible for you to understand your own problem and how to deal with it effectively, so that you have no need to continue seeing doctors and relying on treatments that go on forever. I want you to be able to take care of yourself. It is possible and not as hard as you think.

As I’ve said, seeing a physician expert in this day and age is difficult. In fact, you are likely only able to see a physician face to face for a few minutes at a time and the majority of your time spent is with a midlevel practitioner who has even less understanding of what might be wrong or how to correct it than the physician you are trying to see. The traditional health care model is failing. We are in an era of scarcity and one size fits all treatments for one of the most complex problems that someone can develop-Chronic Pain. My assumption is that most of you have already seen physicians and practitioners and have already tried their treatments and yet, continue to suffer. Here, I will tell you why this is so and what you can do to take back your life.

The treatment of pain remains very much the art of medicine. What you will learn is certainly built on my extensive education, but it comes just as much from my years of experience treating a wide variety of patients and pain conditions. There are really no recipes for how to treat pain. Even determining the diagnosis is difficult for most people with chronic pain and without a good diagnosis, treatment is challenging to impossible. I explain why the diagnosis can be so difficult and what needs to be done to determine what is wrong, or at least to determine what is not wrong and describe treatment options that are effective, even when a clear diagnosis remains elusive.

Your pain is your pain and can’t be compared to anyone else’s pain. There is no worse or better pain. There is only your pain right now. While no two pains develop in exactly the same way, there are many unifying characteristics when it comes to the way our central nervous systems function. The key to relief lies in understanding the physiology of pain. We know that many different and disparate diseases and injuries can lead to similar sets of symptoms, from the debilitating feelings of chronic fatigue syndrome to the similar symptoms of fibromyalgia or even flu. While the inciting events and the patient populations may be very different, the symptoms and the ways to relieve those symptoms are similar.

I am not pitching my own remedies and most of this material is not controversial. The information I provide comes from the available published literature and my decades of experience treating patients very much like you. Some of the concepts I discuss are currently being researched and developed while others are decades old. Unfortunately, many people who treat chronic pain do so without considering this entire body of information in their daily practice and sadly, may not even be aware that some of it exists.

I invite you to join the conversation as I continue to explore and update the information as it becomes available. As a member, you will receive access to my complete knowledge of chronic pain and how to treat it. My book is published on the pages of this website. It is available to read and reread as many times as you like.

Generally, I don’t make promises to patients I treat. With so many variables that can’t be controlled, specific guarantees are impossible. But I can make one guarantee to you. If you learn what I have to show you, you will be better off than you are now.
